Last Thursday 21st July saw our latest Retail Innovation Panel Dinner take place at the Hoxton Hotel in Holborn, reuniting members of our panel from leading retailers such as Whistles, Jaeger, Rapha, Tesco, John Lewis, Secretsales and many others to discuss and share insights with their peers about retail technology innovation. It was also an opportunity to showcase some emerging technology providers who are helping to transform the sector.
The Retail Innovation Panel is an independent group of retail professionals committed to promoting innovation in the retail sector through regular meetings, networking, events and specialized talks.
The Panel allows members to stay on top of the latest industry innovations getting access to new technologies and share their valuable feedback with these ambitious innovators to help them validate their proposition and achieve product market fit.
At our latest dinner we were delighted to have guest speaker Steve Borges, co-founder of Biglight, a retail specialist agency. Steve gave us a sneak preview of research they carried out about the impact of the digital technologies on in-store customer behaviour. The results re-inforced the growing influence digital has, but also discovered some surprising side effects. Biglight’s findings will be published so we will keep you posted.

IMImobile, showing how their communication platform can unify customer communication across all channels and increases customer engagement.
Loop54 demonstrated how their disruptive onsite search engine can increase relevancy and sales, delivering Amazon type search capability but based on small amounts of data.
Mercaux showcased their unique clientele solution designed to deliver a premium instore customer experience and generate incremental sales with a super intuitive user interface.
Of course as ever the Hoxton Hotel served a delicious dinner, while the .Panel shared their thoughts, experiences, insights and feedback on the presentations in a friendly and relaxed environment.
The Retail Innovation Panel get together every two months focussing their attention on different hot topics in the retail industry. The panel offer members an independent glimpse of the most innovative technologies and trends, helps them to avoid irrelevant technology sales calls, grow their network and provide valuable feedback to technology innovators.
